  I went out of my way to return to this shop. Sadly the quality of food has declined from what it once was. Paid $35 for horrible, horrible over-grease-soaked grisly calamari. Chips that have clearly been cooked again and then again. And then again. Disgusting and un-eatable. I ordered whiting and received scrappy “butterfly” fish. Binned the lot! Deserve a full refund and apology. Hated the whole experience, ruined my Sunday. What has happened to this place? Won’t return.

  Came in recently and the music was a bit loud and difficult to understand the cashier, but got it sorted. Came back a second time and it might be my imagination, but the staff didn't seem as friendly, rude almost and not smiling, limited pleasantries...or do i just expect too much that the staff might smile and be friendly?
  
  I'm happy to cut you some slack if you're having a bad day, i just think I'd rather give someone a smile and wish them well while you're at it.
  
  Please understand i am merely pointing out how it felt, not deliberately trying to make anyone feel bad.
  
  Fortunately the food is really good and i have enjoyed it both times.

  The food is quite good but the area is mid.
  I'm a calamari fanatic but I always struggle to find enjoyable calamari, while the calamari here has very little flavour it isn't chewy so it gets a pass from me.
  Other than that the fresh seafood available is always enjoyable.

  My goodness, I haven't had a nice piece of fish like that in year's. That was lovely.
  
  My only complaint is that it was very noisy inside with a TV, radio buzzing fridges and people. But it is probably an acceptable level of noise for people who aren't over stimulated by sound.

  The staff are absolutely amazing & the food is incredible. I finished a night shift & accidentally ordered the wrong thing. The staff remade my order free of charge even though it was my mistake. Highly recommend!

  Fresh fish beautifully cooked. Great chips too. Friendly staff. Not a long wait.
